No designated areas for aerial sporting or recreational activities (parachuting, hang gliding, microlight operations, model aircraft flying, etc.) are currently published within the Damascus FIR.

2. SYSTEM AND METHOD OF ACTIVATION
Temporary events are notified by NOTAM.

All aerial sporting activities require prior authorization from GACA. Active areas are promulgated by NOTAM.
