ENR 6 — En-Route Charts

En-Route Charts for the Damascus FIR are published in accordance with ICAO Annex 4 (Aeronautical Charts) and contain the following information:

ENR 6.1 — En-Route Chart — Lower Airspace

The lower airspace en-route chart depicts ATS routes from ground level to FL 245 within the Damascus FIR. Chart contents include:

  • Lower ATS routes (A, B, G, R, W series) with magnetic tracks and distances
  • Significant points and waypoints with coordinates
  • Radio navigation aids (VOR, VOR/DME, DME, NDB) with identification and frequencies
  • FIR boundaries and boundary crossing points
  • Minimum en-route altitudes (MEA) and minimum obstacle clearance altitudes (MOCA)
  • Aerodrome locations — OSDI, OSAP, OSLK, OSDZ, OSGN
  • Prohibited, restricted and danger areas with designators and vertical limits

ENR 6.2 — En-Route Chart — Upper Airspace

The upper airspace en-route chart depicts ATS routes from FL 245 to FL 460 within the Damascus FIR (OSTT UIR). Chart contents include:

  • Upper ATS routes (UA, UB, UG, UM, UR, UW series) with magnetic tracks and distances
  • Significant points and waypoints used in the upper airspace structure
  • UIR boundary and adjacent FIR/UIR boundaries
  • Radio navigation aids relevant to upper airspace operations
  • Conditional routes and route segments with availability conditions

ENR 6.3 — En-Route Chart Index

The chart index provides an overview of chart coverage areas and sheet numbering for the Damascus FIR region.
